Community Engagement

Believing the gospel compels us forward into deeds of love and mercy, we seek to remain firmly planted in our community through acts of service. We seek to leverage our relationships and our collective influence for the purpose of demonstrating the love of Jesus to the people of our city, and ultimately to lead people to be fully committed followers of Jesus.

LOCAL PARTNERS

STEP
(St. Louis Park Emergency Program) is a nonprofit organization serving residents of St. Louis Park, MN. It provides essential services like a food shelf, clothing assistance, and resources to support individuals and families facing financial or personal challenges. STEP aims to ensure community members in need have access to basic necessities and opportunities to achieve stability and dignity.
Park Community Church  can support STEP in meaningful ways. Participation in STEP’s annual Christmas toy drive helps ensure that local children have gifts during the holiday season. Park CC  hosts occasional food drives to stock STEP’s food shelf. Additionally, Park Community encourages its members to volunteer at STEP events or programs, such as sorting donations, distributing resources, or assisting during special community initiatives. By fostering a culture of service, Park Community Church can play a role in strengthening community connections and providing critical support to those in need.  There may be occasional events led by our community engagement team to get involved at STEP with a group from our church.

Park Community Church is actively involved with Every Meal, working to address child hunger in our community. Each week, teams from Park CC pack backpacks with food for students in need at our sponsored school, Peter Hobart Elementary here in St Louis Park. As a sponsor and partner with Every Meal, we also support their initiatives financially to ensure they can continue making a meaningful impact. Additionally, Park CC participates in group packing events hosted by Every Meal, providing opportunities for our congregation to serve together. We encourage our church members to get involved by volunteering with Every Meal and supporting their mission to combat food insecurity.
