Our church has a long, rich history of serving the spiritual and practical needs of St. Louis Park. On October 17, 1946, eighteen local residents made a commitment to bring the love of Jesus Christ to our community through the ministry of the local church, planting St. Louis Park Evangelical Free Church.

In the fall of 2012, a group of twelve residents new to St. Louis Park felt burdened to give the city a renewed vision of God – making His love and greatness visible to the city. The church they were attending at the time, Antioch Community Church (ACC), encouraged and equipped them to branch out and start a new church in their own community. Not only did ACC encourage us to start a new church, but they equipped us to do so with people, finances, and training – helping us to join the global church planting movement of the EFCA, and build additional partnerships with The Gospel Coalition and Acts 29.

How is it possible we have two starting dates? Because in August 2015 our two church families (70 year old St. Louis Park Evangelical Free Church, 2 year old CityVision Church) came together with one heart to serve St. Louis Park together, becoming Park Community Church. Our church has now formed a new identity as a new church body in an old church building. Learn more about our church and the EFCE through these videos:
