Building for the Future
On November 17, 2024, the members of Park Community Church voted to "take the hill" and pursue a new building at our current location (6805 Minnetonka Blvd). Jesus has been faithful in building his church in St. Louis Park for a long time and dramatically so over the past 10 years. Sunday after Sunday, we feel the energy of what God is doing among us. Our leadership and our congregation believe that God is asking us to follow His lead and build for the future.
Any building project would require generous and sacrificial giving. An official fundraising campaign will be announced in the beginning of 2025. However, we know that year-end giving is significant for some members, attenders, and supporters of our ministry. We invite you to begin giving now toward the New Building of Park Community Church.
Our church leaders have prayerfully set a goal of raising $1 million by the end of 2024. We are praying this season encourages the church and kick-starts the official capital campaign in 2025.
The Story
As a new church, we were blessed to gather and grow in a beautiful and meaningful old church building for the past 10 years. Since 2015, Park Community Church has grown from approximately 150 to 400 people, with a unique burst of growth among kids, youth, and young adults. People from all ages and stages now gather hungry to worship Jesus together – pursuing intimacy, authenticity, and simplicity with God, self, and others.
By God’s grace, the current reality is that our church family is outgrowing its facility. The current building has been changed several times since the 1950s to meet the needs of expanding ministries. We face the same opportunity now.
